Iceberg Pie

It is official! Dried mangoes are a revelation! I have had them before but had forgotten just how much I loved them...seriously you need to quickly scuttle over to your local grocer and pick up some of these delicious morsels of heaven.

As I was watching the film Waitress last night I realized how long it had been since I baked and it made me want to create something masterfully pretty and delicious.

Suffice it to say--you should definitely see this film. Witty, funny, random, and it has delicious looking pies that are sure to make you mad with hunger. I have made a promise to myself that when I go home this weekend I will bake AND take pictures to show you...yippee, I'm excited! Now if I could only to decide what to bake...
I was looking through my favorites on YouTube earlier and realized that I had some pretty old stuff on there--I know that a lot of people have seen this video but if you haven't you need to watch it immediately! I don't know if Mr. Derek Johnson is a genius or just has way too much time on his hands--you decide. I am proud to present to you Titanic: Two the Surface.

Salad and Skirts

The first day of class was nothing special--unless you count the fact that they will be kicking my ass special. I am completely burnt out to the point where I am unable to do any homework, so I have decided to blog instead. It snowed all day [ick, I hate snow--although it is pretty] so it was unfortunate to have to walk around campus in the cold weather. I know, I know, I have done enough whining for one evening.
To make a triumphant end to a not so fabulous day I think we all should take a look at the extraordinary Salad Fingers (drum roll...)

I doubt I will win the contest, but I thought I would share the site with you. We all know how hard it is to find clothes that not everyone and their uncle wears [cough, Abercrombie...cough cough, American Eagle]. Thats it for me...for now. I'll be getting up again tomorrow to face my one (thank God) class of the day--history, it shouldn't be too painful...I hope :/
